This was my fourth PantheaCon, both as an attendee and a presenter, and I just wanted to take a few moments to give a huge round of thanks to everyone involved in making this thing happen. I know that it's more common to hear complaints, because people don't often think to speak up when things are going smoothly.

I wanted to start off with an enormous thank you to the programming staff. I know it has to be a gargantuan task trying to choose among all the various presentations every year, especially when there's simply not enough room for everything. I wanted to acknowledge that the programming folks went above and beyond to make room for my shamanic ritual and accompanying workshop in the schedule, as well as making last-minute room accommodations when the original ones didn't work out due to circumstances beyond anyone's control.

I also wanted to thank the folks who showed up to my own workshop and ritual, as well as the Immanion Press author's panel and the Women's Voices in Magic panel, all of which I was a part of. It was great to be able to share these things with you for all sorts of reasons, and you're one of the most significant reasons I've taken the time and resources to travel to San Jose every year for this event.

And I can't forget the various hospitality rooms, most especially the official PCon one with constant food available--that resource saved me on more than one occasion, and has done so every year without fail. And I also have to give an extra shout-out to the Thelemic hospitality for the pizza--yup, that was me with the awful low-energy, not-blood-sugar-but-like-it crash on Sunday. Not only did you feed me, but you put up with my off-kilter demeanor until the nutrients got my system going again.

Plus I want to mention both Fields Books and Ancient Ways for offering places for authors to sign books. We bounce around a hell of a lot throughout the convention, and having set places where all we need to worry about is connecting with people who want to talk to us (and, of course, buy the books ;) is a nice respite amid the near-hyperactivity of the rest of the weekend.

Those are the ones who stand out the most right now; there's a plethora of individuals and groups and so forth that I could thank profusely, and I could go on and on and on. Needless to say, I'm grateful to everyone who helps to make PCon happen every year; it's by far one of my absolute favorite events ever.
